4th of July Luminaries that are super easy and you might just have everything you need to make these in your craft supply cabinet!
Heres how we did it-

you will need;
1 mason jar or glass jar that is clean and dried
assorted sequins
liquid glue or modge podge
2 baking sheets (to do project on)

Simple 4th of July Craft
cover baking sheet with wax paper or foil.  place jar over baking sheet to catch any glue or spills.
Start painting  your jar with glue or modge podge, we used a paint brush that is disposable for ease.

You will want to  hold the jar upside down on a dowel or other long handled object . Remember not to paint the bottom .
Once your jar is covered begin pouring the sequins over the jar. Turn your jar slowly so it can
get coverage all over.  You might need to help your kiddos with this part.

Place jar on clean covered baking sheet to dry.
We put a batteries operated candle in ours but you can use wax..
To cute and pretty easy to make!

Then we let them dry, popped in a battery operated tea light and that was it! I absolutely love them, and so do the girls.

Easter Egg Popsicles

IMG_2719

www.kidsklutter.com

We all love Popsicles.  This fun and easy way to use up plastic Easter eggs this summer will create a tasty treat that is different and pretty affordable!

Here's how we did it:

To make  popsicle's you will need:

Fruit juice
Plastic Easter eggs
 lollypop sticks
A large nail and thumbtack
Small funnel or piping tip to fill the eggs

First tip the eggs upside down and poke three holes in the bottom. Two of these holes are for letting the air escape when filling the egg, the third one should be in the center of the bottom. Make this center hole bigger using the large nail. You will need it to be as big as the popsicle/sucker stick. Once that is done, and you have your egg carton full of "hole-y" eggs, use the piping tip to fill each one until almost full, and then poke in the lollypop stick and place in the freezer until firm .

When you are ready to eat them, let them sit out for a second, or hold the top part in your hands to warm it up and open the egg on up. You can enjoyed them right out of the plastic egg, and when you get down to the bottom part, the eggs easily slipped on out of the "shell" so you can finish the rest.
